There are many different options when it comes to choosing a stateroom, from inside accommodation to Deluxe Oceanview Family Staterooms that have a private balcony and can sleep up to five people. You will obviously benefit from more space the higher you go up the categories, but all accommodation will include a queen-size bed with either a sofa bed or pull-down berths for any children staying with you.
All Inside Staterooms feature Disney’s innovative magic portholes which display real-time images of outside as well as appearances from fun animated characters. Outside Staterooms without balconies will have a porthole window, whilst Deluxe Oceanview Family Staterooms will have a porthole with a window seat.
Disney offers a range of dining options to their guests to fulfil their every craving. Casual dining is available for breakfast and lunch with extensive self service options for you to choose from. Every night you can try something new with Disney’s rotational dining policy. This means you can rotate between the three main restaurants whilst taking your waiting staff with you each night.
Each restaurant has its own unique Disney theme and entertainment throughout your meal to immerse you completely in the world of Disney. Lumiere’s on board Disney Magic is inspired by Beauty and the Beast, Triton’s on board the Disney Wonder has a Little Mermaid theme and The Royal Palace on the Disney Dream is inspired by classic princess movies, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. The Animators Palate is featured on every Disney ship and features live shows with your favourite Disney characters.
More Casual Options are available such including Cabanas, the Finding Nemo inspired buffet restaurant which has table service in the evenings. Quick dining options are also available throughout the day such as Goofy’s Galley, Pinocchio’s Pizzeria and Pluto’s Dog House for classic American cuisine.
Adult only dining is hosted in the ships exclusive restaurants; to allow the grown ups their own time and space to enjoy their holiday too.
Each ship features three pools; a kids pool, a families pool and an adults only pool. The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy feature the ‘AquaDuck’ the very first water coaster at sea.
There is also a spa, salon, fitness centre, and sporting activities such as basketball, volleyball and miniature golf, as well as virtual sports simulators including football, hockey, soccer and baseball.
Entertainment includes live musical shows featuring some of the best performers in the world in the Walt Disney theatres on board. There are also 3D films in the Walt Disney and Buena Vista Theatres with the latest releases for your entertainment. Daily family deck parties are held every day featuring musical performances from your favourite Disney Characters.
Each ship has a vast programme of children’s activities and facilities to keep the whole family busy all day. These include arcades, lounges, and interactive video games and supervised clubs for every age group. You can leave your younger family members to make new friends, learn and create to their heart’s content in a safe environment.
Character experiences and meet and greets are available daily either programmed or surprise so you never know who you might meet when you walk round the corner.
If you are looking for a bit of adult time there are an array of bars, nightclubs and lounges to suit every taste. Enjoy a spot of music, sip on a cocktail or dance the night away.
Disney has an endless array of excursions available for you to choose from all with their own theme. Adventure excursions include White Water Rafting, Zip lining, Segway and horseback riding. Family experiences include swimming with dolphins, dog sledding or gold panning. Nature adventures include safaris, submarine expeditions and whale watching. Sightseeing and flightseeing adventures include; city, boat, steam train and bicycle tours. Splashtacular adventures include; sports fishing, water parks and boat charters. Booking your excursions with Disney removes all the hassle of taking excursions around the ship’s timetable as the timetable is rearranged around the excursions which won’t happen with excursions booked with other providers. Booking Disney’s Signature Collection Adventures means you are able to custom build your timetable using private vehicles allowing your to enjoy more excursions and create unique experiences.
Castaway Cay is Disney’s exclusive port of call for Disney Caribbean and Bahamian cruises with private beaches, including an adult’s only beach, snorkelling and water sports. There are also BBQ areas, shops and tram transportation for your enjoyment. There are also plenty of opportunities for you to meet your favourite Disney characters along the way, get up close and personal with a stingray or take a splash in one of the islands water parks.
