When did you start working in the travel industry?

I started October 1996 in Thomas Cook in Gosport. I then managed many stores along the South Coast including Fareham, Portsmouth and Southampton West Quay. I then joined Hays Travel Cruise Team for a few years and now with Solent World Travel.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

Sharing my passion for travel and my experience of many holidays and destinations. I love seeing my customer excited for their travels.

Where would you like to visit next?

South Africa for wine tours and shark diving, tented Safari and a trip to Victoria Falls. This is one part of the world I haven't experienced. I loved my previous safari in Kenya many years ago and would love to try the tented safari this time.

What is your dream holiday destination?

I would love to cruise down the Mekong River from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City seeing all the sights, discovering the history and sampling the local cuisine.

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

I have recently booked customers on a Star Clipper ship. What a fantastic experience this would be in the Caribbean.

What were your childhood holidays like?

Newquay in Cornwall to visit my Nan - happy memories even in the rain.
