I first started working in travel in March 2008 after completing a two-year course in Travel and Tourism, something I had always wanted to do. I'm so glad that I did as it has been an amazing journey.
I love to help customers find that perfect holiday they have dreamed of and especially listening to them and seeing their photos once they have returned.
My longest dream is sail on the Royal Clipper around the Caribbean islands and watch the wind in the sails as we glide through the Caribbean seas.
My dream destination is Tahiti, Bora Bora and The Cook Islands. This is an area of interest which I have never visited and just looks amazing, beautiful and stunning.
One holiday i have booked for my customers of which i would love to travel on myself is a Thailand twin-centre with Elephant Hills in incorporated. This is such an amazing trip with starting off in Bangkok to experience the hustle and bustle, not to miss the Golden Palace, then onto Phuket to relax on one of the stunning beaches but also to travel around and sightsee. On to Elephant Hills for a two-night lake camp in the jungle to see all the rescued elephants watching the day to day care of them. Also trekking through the jungle and sitting around the camp fire in the evening telling and listening to everyone's stories of the day they have had. After this onto the Phi Phi islands to just simply relax and chill.
I can always remember my nan and grandad taking our family on our first proper holiday from Southend Airport to Guernsey in the Channel Islands for a week self-catering and exploring the island. It did rain all week but we had the best time.
I always make sure I have my toothbrush, toothpaste and floss.
1) If you can afford to always go for a balcony cabin, when you wake up in the morning and watch the sunrise is amazing.
2) Always use the stairs where possible to get some exercise.
3) Explore the ship as soon as you board to get an idea where everything is.
