South Polynesia... A part of the world I have not been to where I can just imagine total relaxation, stunning waters and beaches, friendly locals and a delightful mix of influences from alternative cultures. I would also love to cruise this region of the world.
I have a particular love of Latin culture, so the cruises that operate within South America over the European winter season combining ports of call in Rio de Janeiro, Buzios (Brazil), Buenos Aires, Punte del Este (Argentian) and Santiago (Chile) appeal massively to me, with a few pre and post nights to top it.
We typically hired a Gite in France near the Dordogne.... I was particularly keen on overnights sleepers when travelling in Europe by rail, to me it was a far more interesting way to travel than simply flying

1) Choose the cruise with the destinations of interest for you.
2) Choose a balcony cabin for that added privacy at a small extra cost.
3) Take advantage of the cuisine options open to you, in some cases there may be small supplements, these are definitely worthwhile for a few occasions.
