When did you start working in the travel industry?

I have worked in travel since 2011 starting out as an apprentice.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love helping to put together someone's dream holiday and hearing about it when they return. You learn something new everyday in travel and have fantastic opportunities to see the world.

What is your favourite Holiday Destination?

Singapore & Thailand is my favourite trip so far. Singapore is a fantastic city with lots to see and do, Gardens by the Bay was my personal highlight. Thailand is so beautiful with excellent marine life and is very cheap when you are there. We went to Elephant Hills which for me was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Where would you like to visit next?

I would love to go to the Maldives for the beaches.

What is your dream holiday destination?

My dream holiday would be a self-drive in Australia. Visiting Sydney and snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef.

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

I enjoy putting big itineraries together. South Africa is always somewhere I want to visit after booking clients. I would love to go to Cape Town, visit Robben Island and do a safari.

What were your favourite childhood holidays?

I was born in Portugal and spent my summer holidays visiting my Dad and Grandparents in the Algarve. I still go every year and recently got married there.
