I started in the travel industry as soon as I left school in 1986!! This was through the youth training scheme. I worked in an independent travel agency and attended college once a week to obtain the necessary travel qualifications.
My favourite holiday destination is Majorca. Yes there are family friendly beach resorts but also fabulous shopping in Palma, the vintage train from Palma to Soller where you can take the tram to wander the orange groves at Puerto Soller and a visit to the famous Caves of Drach are a must. Also it is only a two hour flight away.
The next destination I would like to visit is the China to see the Giant Pandas in Chengdu, the great wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors. I have booked so many people to China who have all come back and said how great their experiences have been.
My dream destination is New Zealand. My friend has recently moved there and it looks breathtakingly beautiful. There are majestic fiords, rolling hills, boiling mud pools and ancient rain forests to be explored.
