South America

It is as if South and Central America were designed to make you dance. With the samba in Brazil, tango in Argentina and the distinctly Spanish-influenced sounds in Mexico, your feet won’t stop moving long after you return home.

This is a continent where adventure and nature abound. Fro river cruises along the Amazon, to scuba diving in the second-largest coral reef (only beaten by the Great Barrier Reef), each country has its own unique way of stirring your senses and getting the adrenaline running. History fans can spot Mayan ruins in Belize, Guatemala and Honduras, whilst animals lovers can search the cloud forests of Costa Rica for exotic birds and howler monkeys. Further south, Patagonia provides an otherworldly environment filled with soaring peaks, giant glaciers and captivating vistas.

Of course, if you want a relaxing break there is also plenty of options available. Unwind on white sand beaches along both coasts or just soak up the atmosphere of the people. Their enthusiasm and zest for life is contagious and will stay with you for years after you have packed away your sandals.
