To help kids continue their schooling during the Coronavirus crisis we invited them to submit their reports on their previous holidays. We received this great report from 10 year old Oliver.
My favourite holiday ever is Disneyland Paris. It's so fun and magical. I have been 4 times already and I wish I could go back again!
We left very early in the morning and travelled to France on the euro tunnel. It didn't take long and once the train was moving we were in France in just over half an hour!
We stayed in Disney's Davy Crockett cabin in the Forest. It's my favourite because it's so quiet there but it does have a park and lots of nice walks. There was so much space in the cabin and the breakfast was really yummy.
My favourite season was Christmas! It's so magical with so many decorations, Christmas music and even fake snow blowing in the air!
I love all the lands in Disneyland but my favourite is Frontier land which is all western themed with one of my favourite rides - big thunder mountain. There are so many good rides in Disneyland like finding Nemo themed Crush's coaster which was really fast and spun round and round but there are family rides too like Pirates of the Caribbean which my little brother loved.
Every day in Disneyland they have parades and shows. The shows and parades are the best I have ever seen in my life! We watched the parade every single day and watched the night show called Illuminations every night. The night show is amazing!
I met lots of characters too like Minnie mouse, Mickey, Darth Vader, Spiderman, Donald Duck and so so many more. They all signed my autograph book and had pictures. My favourite is Pluto, he's so funny!
The food is really cool too. One of my favourite places to eat at dinner time was the pirates of the Caribbean restaurant. It's all themed around Pirates of the Caribbean and you can even see the pirates ride float through while you're eating! The best breakfast is the character breakfast! I got to choose so many yummy things like waffles and pancakes while Winnie the Pooh, Daisy, Tigger, Chip and Dale and Eeyore came to our table!!
Every day for a snack we would get Crepes or Waffles and they were the best I have ever had. I always chose Nutella to go on mine.
I would love to go back to Disneyland Paris and one day I would Love to go to Disney World!
