Back in January, we brought you news of another record year for 2015, the sixth in a row. This success combined with the continued dedication of our staff has enabled us to continue our expansion along the south coast and add a fourth travel shop to our growing portfolio.
Historically East Anglian based, we opened Fred. Olsen Travel stores in both Lymington and Westbourne in early 2015, before also acquiring Dorchester Travel later in the year. The latest addition comes in the form of an outlet within Bournemouth’s Beales department store, a proud pillar within the city’s community for more than 130 years. This choice of location reflects the values that Fred. Olsen Travel holds dear, with Beales being family-owned and operated until the turn of the 21st century.
The new store was officially opened on Monday the 3rd of October by Beales Chairman Stuart Lyons and the new team consisting of Manager Jane Kolowski, Assistant Manager Clare Ruffell and Senior Travel Consultant Beth Pearce are settling into their new roles. As with all of our shops, the knowledgeable staff at our new travel agents in Bournemouth will continue to offer a first class service and a range of holiday products. We work with the best companies in the industry to offer a wide variety of trips on land and sea. From tours of China with Wendy Wu to European train holidays with Great Rail Journeys and cruises from Cunard, we have your needs in mind every step of the way.
